Hello and welcome to the City of Mannington's website. We hope you will take a few minutes to read this in order to familiarize yourself with our city and to entice you to visit us. We are a small but progressive city with a current population of 2,184. Mannington is known for its friendly people and historic houses. If you should need help in finding your way around town, maps are sold at city hall. If we can be of any other assistance to you, please feel free to ask.

We are located in the new city building which houses offices for the mayor, water department, city clerk, code enforcement officer, the sanitary board plus the council chambers where city meetings are held. The police department and the street/water superintendent's offices are in the brick building located directly beside us. Mannington Main Street's office is on the second floor of that building.

City Hall's office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays. A night slot is located outside of the main door for anyone wishing to make payments after hours. You will receive a monthly utility bill from us that will include charges for water, sewer, and the municipal service charge. The rates for the water and sewer services are available on this website and are posted at city hall for your convenience. The service charge is a $12.00 assessment that partially funds the fire and police departments and helps with the street lighting expense. Questions concerning your sewer service should be directed to the sewer plant at 304-986-3394.

We have a volunteer fire department with stations located on Monroe Street in Clayton Addition and Meadow Avenue in Homewood Addition. Our police department consists of five officers who provide 24-hour protection. To reach either of these departments in an emergency, dial 911. For non-emergency phone numbers click here.
